College Week Life - FSU

College Week Live - live chat with FSU peeps!
Florida State University welcomes you and your students to participate in a virtual college fair hosted by CollegeWeekLive on March 23 and 24. Admissions representatives and current students will be available to answer questions from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. (EST) each day. Please encourage your students to register at http://www.collegeweeklive.com and attend this free event.

If your students are unable to attend CollegeWeekLive or just want to visit more with FSU, several upcoming online chat sessions on our chat homepage. During these events, current FSU students will share their personal experiences about academics and student life.

Delta Sigma Theta Scholarship

Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. is an organization dedicated to aiding in the education of talented youth. Each year, they award five $2000 college scholarships; one Leadership Scholarship and four Academic Scholarships.

Requirements for Performance scholarship:

* Most recent transcript
* Most recent SAT or ACT scores
* Current recommendation letter
* One monologue between 1 and 2 minutes


Requirements for Technical scholarship:

* Most recent transcript
* Most recent SAT or ACT scores
* Current recommendation letter
* Informal portfolio/resume presentation

ExxonMobil Bernard Harris Math and Science Scholarships: $5000
Labels African American, Hispanic, Scholarships
Four scholarships for two males and two females -- $5,000 each -- will be awarded to two African American and two Hispanic students on behalf of the former NASA astronaut, physician and businessman, Dr. Bernard Harris, the first African American to walk in space.

Family Medicine Scholarship

Considering a career in Family Medicine? SCHOLARSHIP!
Description:
Open only to high school seniors who are considering a career in Family Medicine. This application must include a written letter by the applicant stating why he/she wants to be a Family Physician, a letter of recommendation from his/her high school counselor, a copy of high school transcript and a nomination from a Family Physician who is a member of the New York State Academy of Family Physicians.

Summer Driver Education Course

2011 SUMMER DRIVER EDUCATION REGISTRATION



Summer Driver Education registration will be

Tuesday, April 12th beginning at 6:30 p.m. sharp

in A, B, and D halls of the academic building at Fletcher High School. (The applicable hall will be posted at registration).

The class is open to high school students only.

There will be 3 classes with a maximum of 25 openings per class. Registration is limited to the student and his/her parent or legal guardian.
