EOC Results

Mrs. Dunkley (10th grade counselor) and Mrs. Sasan (9th grade counselor) are giving students their results from the summer administration of the Algebra 1 End Of Course exam (EOC).  Students who did not pass their ALG1 EOC will have to be placed in Intensive Math in order to receive remediation and get ramped up before the next administration of the ALG1 EOC which will be in December.

Here are some useful links to help you/your student get extra help for the ALG1 EOC:

Mayo Clinic Heath Care Boot Camp 2012

Apply now for the Mayo Clinic High School Health Care Boot Camp in Florida! There are still spots available!
The Mayo School of Health Sciences (MSHS) will host the High School Boot Camp on Saturday, October 6, 2012 from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm. The Boot Camp enables high school students to learn about potential healthcare careers. Students in grades 9–12 are eligible to apply.

The Boot Camp provides hands-on experiences to attract young people to health care careers. Current Mayo School of Health Sciences students are volunteering their time to represent their chosen profession at a brief Career Fair during the High School Boot Camp event. Attending the fair will be Boot Camp student attendees, as well as selected Duval County School counselors and teachers.

There are a limited number of spots available. Acceptance is on a first-come – first-serve basis to those submitting a “complete application” with original signatures. All applications are due prior to March 30, 2012.

To register, complete the Reservation and Consent forms and forward to Mayo School of Health Sciences at MCFMSHS@mayo.edu or fax to 953-2954.
